Synergy is a software package that allows you to link PCs together in a way that resembles traditional multi monitor usage. By mousing past the edge of one monitor, you move your cursor into a different PC entirely. This has been tremendously useful in my multi-platform development, so I’d like to share what I’ve learned about it. Using my Windows Vista and Ubuntu 10.04 PCs, I will demonstrate how to install and configure Synergy for home use.

Borderlands [Review]
January 10th, 2010 by templewulfMuch like the way peanut butter and chocolate are two great tastes that taste great together, I love genre mash-ups. Adding addictive RPG elements to other styles of game is commonplace now, but Borderlands really runs with it. It goes so far as to show damage numbers popping out of your foes as you ventilate them with your SMG, and that’s a trolley I want to ride.

God Hand [Meta-Review]

It was such a terrible review that I have not returned to IGN except to take measure of how low the bar may permissibly be set. I may have been late in hopping on the “can’t spell ignorance without IGN” bandwagon, but what I lack in initiative I compensate for in acerbic frothing.
